India Innovations
India has many innovations here are some of them.
Cotton- People in India were the first to grow cotton. They grew it around 2500 BC. It took 4,000 year to spread cotton growing from India. People in India used the cotton to make clothing. They were the first people to wear cotton clothing.
Snakes and ladders- Around 1200 AD people in India started to play a game called snakes and ladders. We know this game as Chutes and Ladders. This game was a Hindu game. They used a cowrie shell for there piece and a dice to see bhow far they would move. Each space was called a house amd each house represented a different kind of emotion. The ladders stood for good feelings but the snakes stood for bad feelings. If you got a snake you would go farther away from Nirvana.
